Principal Contractor

MCD Construction is a principal contractor with the agility to work through a range of forms of contract from traditional and design and build to NEC and Minor works for contracts up to £10m in value.
The team has extensive experience delivering high quality projects across a range of sectors including private and public housing, education, commercial, health and leisure and can deliver schemes throughout the UK. We have a handpicked team of highly experienced project managers, quantity surveyors, design managers and health and safety consultants many of whom have worked together for several years and deliver projects in a collaborative arena to ensure a positive outcome for all involved.

Construction Management

The flexibility of the CM model provides MCD with the ability to offer clients bespoke solutions to achieve required outcomes and challenges of a scheme while allowing clients to retain full financial control.
Whilst Construction Management has historically proven to be very successful across complex large-value schemes, MCD has found it also has great success for smaller low-value schemes which are not usually considered for CM procurement. It has in recent years proved particularly useful for continuation projects of projects in distress where the costs of continuing on a design and build basis can become prohibitive. A significant benefit of the CM route being the ability for projects to commence far quicker than traditionally procured schemes.

Preferably being engaged from the earliest feasibility stage we can prepare design specifications and manage multi-disciplinary teams, providing a single point of contact.
